Enfield Readers Submit Their Mother-Daughter Lookalike Photos

Help us celebrate Mother's Day 2018 by sending in your mother-daughter lookalike photo.

ENFIELD, CT — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Connecticut to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies! and part of the fun of motherhood is watching your children grow up and enjoy the same things that you love.

Several Enfield readers have already submitted their lookalike photos:

Theresa Luersen and mom Vicky Stacey

"This is a picture of my daughter, Theresa Luersen, and me on her wedding day, July 2005. People always say we look a lot alike, but I never saw the resemblance until this picture!"

Stacey Capodicasa and daughters Alex and Madelyn

"This was from our family vacation last summer August 2017. I love you guys to the moon and back. You guys will do great things and I couldn’t be more proud of you!"

"My daughter and I taking a quick selfie together on Easter Day! She is the one who made me a mom, the most special job in the world, and I am thankful for HER everyday!"

Rachel Thompson and mom Margie Burnes

"My name is Rachel and my mothers name is Margie, this was taken 5 years ago at my grandmother's house in Enfield! I want to wish my mom, my rock a very happy Mother’s Day, she raised me as a single mom and worked as hard as she possibly could! I can’t thank her enough for all she’s done/still does for me. She’ll have a grandson arriving in September, first boy to be born in the family out of 6 girls, including my daughter. She really is a prime example of a mother figure."

Jamie Pereira and Amy Zeo-Pereira

"Happy Mother’s Day Mom! Remember this pic? The only Ferris wheel you like! 8/5/2017, Italian Festival, Enfield."

Pam and Olivia Gaines

Breanna Ouellette and family

"We would love to give a tribute to my mom, grandma, and great grandmother for Mother's Day. The most amazing women that we know. Our heroes, our caretakers, our best friends. We wouldn't be the people we are today without the care from them."

Doreen Kibbe and daughter Audria Kibbe

"Happy Mother's Day, Mama! This photo was taken at the CT Trolley Museum two years ago, where we have volunteered together every year since 2009. This shows our personalities and relationship in one photo. I love you so much mama - I don't know what I would do without you."

Nancy Shepard and daughter Brooke Shepard

"My favorite little girl, the one who made me a mom. Thank you for being you, I love you!"

Tiffany Sampson and mom Jeannette

"This is a picture of my mom, Jeannette, and I a few years ago. She is literally my best friend and not only do we look alike but we act the same too, finishing each other’s sentences and laughing till we cry over nothing. Last year I talked her into getting a matching dragonfly tattoo so we will always be connected. Right now she’s helping me so much with my upcoming wedding, I don’t know what I’d do without her. Love you Mom!"

Katie Fitzgerald and daughter Maggie, 7

"My girl and I at a neighbor’s fiesta! She makes me proud to be her mama every day!"

Lori Navin and daughter Natalee

"Here is a picture of my mini-me and me taken on the morning of my godson’s first holy communion. Natalee is my first born, she still calls me Mama and it melts my heart, we share the same middle name (Jane), and she and her brother Johnny fill my heart with love & happiness! I love being a Mom!"

Gina and Juliet Kiner

"This is a picture of my daughter and I in Epcot, Disney World this past March. She had just met Minnie Mouse and had shrieked with excitement! Everyday with her is an adventure and I love watching her discover the world around her. It is so fun being her mom!"
