Two grants totaling $10,500 have been awarded by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving to The Network Against Domestic Abuse in Enfield, Connecticut to support the basic and emergency needs of families at Julie’s safe house.
“At The Network, we are incredibly grateful for support from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving and its commitment to ensuring that area nonprofits have the tools necessary to continue to provide basic human needs to those they serve during these challenging times,” said Karen O’Connor, Executive Director.
One of these grants, thanks to the Beatrice Fox Auerbach Foundation Fund at the Hartford Foundation will be used to supply basic human needs to survivors fleeing abuse at Julie’s Safe House. The second grant, from the Mrs. James Sage Coburn Fund at the Hartford Foundation, will be utilized to support survivors and families who are residents of the town of Suffield.
