Hartford And Tolland County Teams Seeking State Softball Championships

HARTFORD-TOLLAND COUNTIES, CT ? When softball teams take the field for state tournament competition on diamonds all across the state Monday, there will be 34 squads wearing uniforms representing high schools in Hartford and Tolland counties.

The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) released pairings for its four softball divisions Friday morning. First-round contests will be hosted by the higher-seeded teams.
