Head-On Crash Causes Traffic Delay At Enfield-Suffield Bridge

ENFIELD, CT — A head-on collision between a pickup truck and another vehicle briefly tied up traffic at the Enfield-Suffield Veterans Bridge late Friday morning.

The crash occurred shortly before 11 o'clock just east of the Pearl Street ramps. The drivers of both vehicles refused medical care and walked away from the incident with minor injuries, Thompsonville Fire Department Chief David Deskis said.

Traffic on Route 190 was rerouted around the crash scene, causing minor traffic delays, Deskis said.
