Independence Day Parade To Take Place In Enfield
After a hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, a parade celebrating America's birthday has been scheduled for Saturday, July 3.

ENFIELD, CT — The annual 3-day Enfield 4th of July Town Celebration may be off again this year, but after a year's hiatus, an Independence Day parade will take place on Saturday, July 3. The parade, entitled "Our Communities United - Red, White, and Blue!" will begin at 11 a.m. near the Enfield Street School.
"After the cancellation of the Memorial Day Parade due to inclement weather, our committee was approached and asked if there was anything we can do to give the community a parade to celebrate our country, veterans, and communities coming together throughout the last 15 months," Celebration chairman Scott Kaupin said. "With the lift on COVID restrictions, we are happy to be hosting our 2021 Independence Day Parade."
Local organizations, groups, churches and bands are invited to participate in the parade. Interested groups are asked to fill out and submit an entry form, available at https://www.enfieldcelebration.org/home/parade.
