Local Pianist shines performing Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2
After months of practice, Miss Beth Ann Surapine, Director of Music at St. Bernard Church, was in the spot light performing Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 on Saturday, February 3rd with the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra in Milford, MA as her brother Paul Surapine conducted. Ms. Surapine delivered a beautiful, moving and flawless performance. Her family, friends, loved ones, students and choir members all came to support her for this very special evening and to mark this milestone in her life. The packed symphony hall was on their feet at the end of the concert in loud applause as she hit the last note on the keyboard. Her performance was dedicated to her mother Carol and her late father, Ray Surapine.
