Man Severely Lacerated During Altercation At House In Enfield
A man sustained serious lacerations after being struck by a large bottle during an altercation early Monday morning, according to police.

ENFIELD, CT — A man was hospitalized with "serious lacerations" following an early morning incident Monday inside an Elm Street house, according to police.
Police were called to the home in the 300 block of Elm around 1:28 a.m. and found a man bleeding badly. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Chief Alaric Fox said.
Investigation revealed the man and a woman had been involved in a dispute, and that "a serious altercation" involving between four and 10 people had ensued. The hospitalized man had been struck by a large bottle, Fox said.

No one has been arrested yet in connection with the case, but "multiple arrest warrants for multiple persons will be submitted to the state's attorney's office," Fox said.
