Masks Now Mandated At Enfield Town Council Meetings
Council leaders from both parties adopted a policy requiring the wearing of masks at all council meetings.

ENFIELD, CT — Masks have now been mandated to be worn by everyone at meetings of the Enfield Town Council, including councilors, staff members and spectators. The new policy became effective at Monday night's meeting.
A message posted on the town's website from Town Manager Christopher Bromson said:
"Going forward, to be consistent with current policy in Town buildings including Town Hall, Mayor Michael Ludwick and Minority Leader Cynthia Mangini have adopted, on an emergency basis, a policy pursuant to rules and procedures of the Enfield Town Council, stating that masks must be worn by EVERYONE at Town Council meetings. Masks may only be removed while speaking. The policy will be stated at the beginning of the meeting."
Seats at the dais in the council chambers have been rearranged to ensure six feet of distance between council members.
