Motorcyclist Sustains Serious Injuries In Crash In Enfield
A Wednesday night collision between a motorcycle and an SUV left one person hospitalized with serious injuries, according to police.

ENFIELD, CT — A collision between a motorcycle and a sport utility vehicle resulted in serious injuries to one person, and the closure of a busy road for nearly three hours Wednesday night.
The crash occurred around 8:52 p.m. on South Road, just east of Phoenix Ave., and involved a 2006 Honda Victory motorcycle and a 2019 Nissan Rogue. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to Hartford Hospital with suspected serious injuries, according to a report from Officer Pete Nisyrios.
Police did not release the names of any persons involved in the crash.

South Road was closed between Phoenix Ave. and Freshwater Boulevard while police conducted an investigation, which is ongoing.
