New Town Farm Road Detours to Take Effect Monday In Enfield

ENFIELD, CT — A lengthy road project on Town Farm Road will cause closure of a segment of the street beginning Monday, Aug. 19.

For about two weeks, Town Farm Road will be closed between Abbe Road and Broad Brook Road, with access to most addresses and Grassmere Country Club only available from Abbe. Clear signage will be in place along Broad Brook and Abbe, ensuring motorists are properly detoured, police said.

Town Farm will be blocked completely just east of Grassmere, allowing motorists coming from Abbe as far as the golf course. Access from Broad Brook will only be to the first few houses, with no access to the golf course from that direction, police said.
