Police Seek Owner of Dog Abandoned In Enfield

Anyone with information about the canine or its owner is asked to call the Enfield Police Department.

ENFIELD, CT — Enfield police are seeking the owner of a German shepherd which was found in a crate at the bottom of an embankment Saturday.

The dog, which was wearing a blue collar with a black clasp, appears to be healthy, but was transported to a local veterinarian for an evaluation. The canine is currently recovering from dehydration, police said.
