Road Closed Due to Downed Trees and Wires At Enfield/Somers Line
Windy conditions caused trees and utility wires to fall across a roadway at the Enfield town line with Somers.
ENFIELD, CT — Moody Road is closed at the Somers town line after trees and utility wires came down across the roadway during a storm involving high winds Monday.
No one was injured in the incident, but police advise motorists to avoid the area as utility crews work at the scene. No time estimate was given as to how long the street would remain closed.
In Somers, the road is known as George Wood Rd.
