Rollover Crash Clogs Up Major Enfield Roadway

No injuries were reported in the Wednesday morning crash, but the major artery through Enfield was bogged down for nearly an hour.

ENFIELD, CT — A rollover crash on Route 190 caused major traffic flow difficulties for nearly an hour Wednesday morning. The crash took place around 10:30 a.m. in front of a small plaza containing the Country Diner.

Police and fire officials reported no injuries were sustained. Traffic on Hazard Ave., the busiest street in town, was diverted down Middle Road and Palomba Drive, with westbound traffic backed up into the center of Hazardville.

The roadway was reopened shortly after 11:30 a.m., according to police.
