Severe Weather Possible On Tuesday In Northern Connecticut: Timeline, New Details Released
It hasn't been the best weather start to this week in Hartford and Tolland counties. Here are the new forecast details.
HARTFORD/TOLLAND COUNTY, CT ? There is a chance of severe weather on Tuesday, according to forecasters.
"As a storm system arrives today, the likelihood for rain with embedded thunderstorms will increase. Fortunately, the round essentially begins (or ramps up) *after* the AM commute and then ends *before* the PM commute. During the afternoon, we?ll see clearing get underway from west to east. As a cold front pushes through the region around sunset, there?s a low-end chance for an isolated shower/storm. Otherwise, expect temps to reach the upper 60s and lower 70s. Keep in mind, in terms of severe weather, we?re at a level one, which isn?t horrible, but it?s still there. If the skies look threatening, please head in doors," said WFSB 3 TV meteorologists.
