St. Martha School Thanksgiving Project
First grade students made Thanksgiving cards for the residents and brought a goodie basket to the Sisters

This Saint Martha School Thanksgiving Project was led by the Saint Martha School 1st Grade Teacher, Mrs. Betty Tortora. There are about 26 permanent residents on the 2nd floor (convalescent home part) of the St.Joseph's residence, located here in Enfield. The Saint Martha School Grade One students made lovely cards, each one making two, so that every resident there will be remembered this Thanksgiving day. They also gave a basket of goodies to the good sisters, Little Sisters of the Poor, that care for them. The children have such a generous spirit and this is a perfect demonstration of sharing during the Thanksgiving holiday...faith, family, food, and friends. Pictured above are Saint Martha students delivering the care package and cards.
