UTC Employees Lend A Hand to KITE
UTC Aerospace Employees Roll Up Their Sleeves to Assemble Enfield Plays On! Summer Playcation Kits
On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, twenty volunteers from UTC Aerospace Systems volunteered their time assembling 300 Summer Playcation Kits as part of the Enfield Plays On! initiative. This opportunity was made possible by the United Way’s Spring 2018 Year of Caring Campaign. Three hundred kits will be distributed free to children in Enfield which will provide them with daily projects and activities to do over summer vacation.
*KITE (Key Initiatives to Early Education) is Enfield's early childhood collaborative working to ensure that Enfield's children are healthy, safe and happy; live in thriving families; and are ready to learn the skills they need to succeed in school and the 21st century.
*Enfield Plays On! mission is to inform, incorporate and increase play in the community.
