Valedictorian, Co-Salutatorians Announced At Enfield High School
The top scholars for June commencement exercises have been announced at Enfield High School.

ENFIELD, CT — Officials at Enfield High School have announced Grace Farris as valedictorian of the Class of 2021, and sisters Alexis Dean and Cassandra Dean as co-salutatorians.
Farris, daughter of Paul and Joan Farris, has accumulated numerous accolades, including National Merit Finalist, AP Scholar with Distinction, Worcester Polytechnic Institute Book Award, Governor’s Scholar Nominee, Society of Women Engineers Merit Award, National Honor Society, Best Buddies Chapter Secretary and ACE Mentoring Program.
Outside the classroom, she was a member of the Enfield-Somers co-op swimming team for four years, earning All-State honors in the 200 individual medley and setting school records in that event and the 100 backstroke. She served as team captain in her junior and senior years.

She holds EMT certification on the national, Massachusetts and Connecticut levels, and is co-concert master with the Springfield Symphony Youth Orchestra.
Farris will be attending a four-year university following a pre-medical track, majoring in either molecular and cellular biology or biochemistry.

Alexis and Cassandra Dean, daughters of Vicki Dean, are both members of the National Honor Society, with Alexis serving as president. They are also both members of the Spanish National Honor Society, and were co-captains of the school's Relay For Life squad. They were also co-captains of the Eagles' volleyball team.
Both sisters have been involved with the Enfield Youth Council, and have studied at Riley's School of Dance throughout their academic careers.
They will be attending Northeastern University in the fall as honors students, majoring in health science at the Bouvé College of Health Science on a pre-PA track.
