Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Hartford, Tolland County

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Hartford and Tolland counties beginning 1 a.m. Saturday and continuing until 7 p.m. Saturday.

"Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches expected. WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut as well as southwest, central and northeast Massachusetts.

"Plan on slippery road conditions, reduced visibility especially Saturday morning. Heaviest snow expected Saturday morning," the NWS says.

Snow likely, mainly after 3am. Cloudy, with a low around 27. Calm wind becoming north 5 to 7 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Snow likely, mainly before 11am. Cloudy, with a high near 38. North wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Saturday Night
A slight chance of snow between 10pm and 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
