50 Cent's Farmington Mansion Finally Sells

FARMINGTON, CT — The never-ending saga of rapper 50 Cent's mansion in Farmington may soon be finally reaching a conclusion after nearly a dozen years, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The financial paper reported the 52,000 square foot mansion at 50 Poplar Hill Drive, which contains 52 rooms, has been sold for $2.9 million, roughly half of the latest listing price of $4.995 million.

Situated on 17 acres, the home contains 21 bedrooms, 25 bathrooms, an indoor pool and hot tub, a substantial night club, an indoor court, multiple game rooms, a green screen room, a recording studio, a full gym, a conference room and a home theater, according to Realtor.com.

The rapper, whose given name is Curtis James Jackson III, acquired the sprawling property for $4.1 million in 2003 from former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson. Following extensive renovation, the property was first listed in 2007 for $18 million, and has been on and off the market several times since then, with drastic price reductions.
