50 Cent's Lawyer Says Farmington Property Not Sold

Entertainment web site TMZ.com had reported the 50,000 square foot mansion had been sold.

Contrary to published reports on TMZ.com and other sources, the Farmington mansion owned by rapper 50 Cent has apparently not been sold.

A representative for the performer told People magazine that reports the 50,000 square foot home and estate had been sold were premature.

"It is not sold yet, there are offers they are reviewing and it is still on the market," the representative is quoted as telling the magazine.

50 Cent, whose legal name is Curtis Jackson III, filed for bankruptcy in 2015.

"There is no signed contract in place to purchase the property," Jackson's lawyer told People. "Until such time as a formal contract has been approved by the Bankruptcy Court and executed, the property will remain listed and for sale to all interested buyers."
