2 Hurt In Route 2 Shoulder Accident In Glastonbury
Two people standing near a car on the Route 2 shoulder in Glastonbury were struck by a passing vehicle, state police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Two people standing next to a car on the shoulder of Route 2 were hurt after it was hit by a passing vehicle over the weekend, state police said.
The crash took place on Saturday at 3:26 p.m. on the eastbound side of the highway near Exit 10, according to a report.
Klever Pena, 40, of Meriden, was standing near a 2009 Nissan Rogue, which was parked close to the white shoulder line, according to a report. The Nissan was then "sideswiped" by a 2013 Ford F350, state police said. Pena and another person on the side of the road were also hit in the process, according to a report.

Pena was taken to Hartford hospital with serious injuries, according to a report.
Sophia Cruz-Sanchezdepena, 65, was also hurt in the crash, according to a report. She was taken to Hartford Hospital, state police said.
