The CT River Valley Chamber Teams up with the Jordan Porco Foundation for the 3rd Annual ‘Bids, Bites & Beer’ Fundraising Auction on April 25
On April 25th, the CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce will again host ‘Bids, Bites & Beer,’ at the Holiday Inn Hartford Downtown in East Hartford, CT.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Jordan Porco Foundation founded in 2011 by Ernie and Marisa Porco after they lost their son, Jordan, to suicide when he was a freshman in college. This event, traditionally held in the fall, has been moved to the springtime by the Chamber, beginning in 2019.
The mission of the Jordan Porco Foundation is to prevent suicide, promote mental health, and create a message of hope for young adults. JPF is a 501(c)3 non-profit, located in Hartford, CT, with national programs.
