Bates College, Lewiston ME

• Mitchell Willsey of Glastonbury, a senior at Bates College, spent the summer researching the synthesis of the natural product linderofruticoside with Associate Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry Jennifer Koviach-Cote. Willsey, the child of Dave and Lisa Willsey and a 2016 graduate of Glastonbury High School, was among more than 240 students who received support from Bates in order to accept summer work that facilitated professional exploration and reflection about fulfilling future career paths. Willsey's research was funded by a STEM Faculty-Student Grant.

Quinnipiac University, Hamden CT

• Sara Wilcox of Glastonbury is competing on the QU women's indoor track and field team this season. A senior, Wilcox is majoring in Nursing.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy NY

• The Liberty League has announced its year-end award winners from football and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athlete John Sadak of Glastonbury and Xavier High School is among those to have earned the honor. All-Liberty League Second Team ... Linebacker ... Captain ... Leads team in solo tackles (36) and total tackles (67) ... All-Liberty League First Team in 2018.

Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven CT

• Junior Scott Moore of Glastonbury is a member of the 2019-20 men's swimming team at SCSU. He is majoring in Athletic Training.

University of Connecticut, Storrs CT

• Morocca Wiley of Glastonbury is a member of the UConn women's track and field team this season. A junior, she is a graduate of Glastonbury High School.
• McAlister Milne of Glastonbury is a member of the UConn men's swimming team this season. A freshman, he is a graduate of Glastonbury High School.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• Senior Sarah LeClair of Glastonbury is a member of the Hawks' women's track and field team for 2019-20. She is majoring in accounting.
