Car With Sleeping Driver Nearly Rolls Into Traffic In Glastonbury
A passed-out driver's car nearly rolled intio traffic in Glastonbury, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — An East Hartford man is due in court next week to face a drunken driving charge in a case of his vehicle nearly rolling out of a parking lot and into traffic on a Glastonbury Road with him asleep at the wheel, a report indicates.
The incident took place at 7:23 p.m. on Dec. 23, police said.
That evening, police recieved a report of about an unconscious man in a vehicle in the parking lot of the Mobil Statiom at 2997 Main St. When officers arrived, they found the vehicle stopped at the exit of the lot waiting to enter Putnam Boulevard with the driver slumped over the steering wheel, according to a report.

He was later identified as David Mulazzi, 42, of East Hartford.
Officers woke him up, determined he was under the influence of an "intoxicant," and arrested him for driving under the influence, operating a car with a suspended license, possessing a controlled substance, and possessing drug paraphernalia, a report indicates.

He was released on a $15,000 bond with a Jan. 8 court date, records show.
