- Four Eastern Connecticut State University History majors presented their projects at the history honor society's Phi Alpha Theta New England regional conference on Nov. 23. The Phi Alpha Theta conference highlighted research on topics ranging from gender and power to colonial and imperial legacies, and was held at Salem State University in Salem, MA. Among the student presenters was Maggie Sanderson of Glastonbury, who majors in History. Their project was titled "Sarah Polk: Membress of Congress."

- Austin Buck of Glastonbury, a member of the class of 2020 majoring in biomedical engineering and mechanical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense, hands-on research project in Switzerland. The project was titled Design of Cadaveric Temporal Bone Sample Holders for Otological Research.
