We are excited for our first statewide Walk as a combined organization, rallying the community to bring awareness to the issue of food insecurity in Connecticut. Funds raised from the Walk help support not only Connecticut Food Bank / Foodshare but the partner agencies that help us serve the estimated 545,000 people in Connecticut who struggle with hunger, including 164,000 children.
We are excited to welcome back Renee DiNino from The River 105.9 and Scot Haney from WFSB as our emcees. There will be plenty of entertainment on Walk day, and the event is FREE to the public; no registration fee!
