Crash Closes Part Of Route 2 In Glastonbury

GLASTONBURY, CT — A crash involving a truck partially closed a section of Route 2 westbound in Glastonbury early Monday afternoon, traffic officials said.

The crash at Exit 5D in Glastonbury.was first reported by state Department of Transporation officials at 1:50 p.m.

The right shoulder remained open as emergency crews tended to the scene, DOT officials said. The road was "congested" for 4.7 miles, DOT officials said.

The crash involved unspecified injuries.
