Dirt Bike Rider, 16, Injured In Hit-And-Run Crash: Glastonbury PD

Police are asking for help with finding the driver who left the scene of the crash.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A 16-year-old boy riding a dirt bike was injured in a crash with a station wagon Thursday afternoon in Glastonbury, according to police. The crash happened around 12:10 p.m. on Griswold Street near House Street.

The boy suffered a serious injury to his leg and the driver fled the scene, according to police. The pictured vehicle was immediately found nearby on Bates Lane, but the driver fled from police, officials said.

“We are investigating whether or not this vehicle is connected to the crash,” police said in a post on Facebook.
