Double-neck guitarist Ian Ethan Case in concert

Double-neck guitarist Ian Ethan Case will appear in a Glastonbury home concert that is open to the public on April 29th, 2017

The Gathering Room is proud to present 18-string acoustic double-neck guitarist Ian Ethan Case in a home concert on Saturday, April 29th at 7:00 pm. The concert will be held in a private home in Glastonbury, CT, but is open to the public. Suggested donations are $15 adults and $10 students/seniors along with a non-perishable food donation for the local food bank. Reservations can be made by calling (860) 633-5057 or e-mailing pattisivocole@gmail.com. Directions will be forwarded at that time.

Following a busy 2016 which included his first tour of Europe, two performances with a full symphony orchestra, and roughly 39,000 miles of travel within the US alone, acoustic double-neck guitarist and Candyrat recording artist Ian Ethan Case presents a new tour for 2017, previewing music from his upcoming album Earth Suite and featuring a never-before-seen custom instrument affectionately dubbed "The Beast".

Incorporating newly developed "acoustic synthesis" technology from American inventor Paul Vo, the instrument was co-designed by Case and private luthier Wade Sylvester and took over 7 years to build. With an array of tuning levers allowing for accessing hundreds of tunings on the fly, along with sophisticated electromagnetic technology that physically manipulates the vibration of the 12 strings, be prepared to hear other-worldly sounds you've never imagined coming from a guitar, double-neck or otherwise.
