Felony Charge Filed After Fire Alarm Pulled At Glastonbury Hotel
A Glastonbury resident is facing a felony charge after a hotel fire alarm incident, a report indicates.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A 35-year-old local resident is facing a felony charge after a fire alarm incident at a Glastonbury Hotel, police said.
Police said on at about 1:30 a.m. on April 3, a fire alarm was activated at the Hilton Garden Inn, 85 Glastonbury Boulevard. The alarm prompted authorities to evacuate the building, according to an arrest report.
It was discovered the "fire pull station" was activated and there were no signs of smoke, fire or "any type of emergency," on the property, according to an arrest report.

Perry Charmas is accused ot activating the fire alarm intentionally and was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, according to an arrest report. He was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester courthouse on May 13, police said.
Criminal mischief in the first degree is a Class D felony in Connecticut.
