The latest installment of this informative series on Patch sites in north-central Connecticut, providing facts and figures about some of the state roads which wind through the area, features arguably the most unique route in the entire state - Route 160, which begins at Route 15 in Berlin and ends at Route 17 in Glastonbury. However, to get from one end of the route to the other continuously requires a 5-minute ride on the country's oldest continuously-operated ferry service, spanning the Connecticut River between Rocky Hill and Glastonbury. Yes, the river crossing is a continuation of Route 160.
