Glastonbury Arts Hosts Annual Holiday Art Show

On Saturday, November 12, and Sunday, November 13, Glastonbury Arts will host its 7th Annual Holiday Art Exhibit and Sale from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Riverfront Community Center, 300 Welles Street, Glastonbury, CT. The diverse selection of styles and subject matter that will be on display offers something to fit the most artistic taste and budget.

The artists invited to participate in this two-day show were selected for the top-notch caliber of their work and talent; many have been recognized regionally and nationally. “The secret to the show’s success is the high quality of art work exhibited for sale,” say Glastonbury Arts Co-Presidents Carol Ahlschlager and Richard Hoff, “and visitors to the show will find artists who are eager to engage with an appreciative audience.” And, this year, with a nominal $5 donation, we are also hosting a “Meet and Greet” reception with the artists on Saturday, 5:30 – 7:00 pm. Hors d'oeuvres, wine, and bottled water will be served and the public is invited to mingle with the artists and Glastonbury Arts representatives in a relaxed environment. A portion of art sale proceeds benefits the education and community enrichment programs of Glastonbury Arts and are tax-deductible.

The 7th Annual Holiday Art Exhibit and Sale is presented by Glastonbury Arts, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting art and enriching the lives of Glastonbury citizens and the regional community through art.
