Glastonbury Bridge Closed For Replacement, Detours In Place

GLATONBURY, CT — The timetable for the project to replace the Fisher Hill Road bridge over Roaring Brook stretches into the fall, town officials said this week.

Work began this week and the bridge will be closed until November, officials said.

Work will involve the complete replacement of the bridge and no traffic, including emergency response vehicles, will be able to cross the structure, officials said.

Detour signs are in place for Forest Lane and Manchester Road.
