Glastonbury Man Accused Of Evidence Tampering In Kid Porn Case
Police have arrested a Glastonbury resident in a child porn case.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A Glastonbury resident is accused of not only possessing child pornography, but attempting to thwart a multi-tiered investigation by deleting images with a sophisticated computer application, police said.
David Wasch, 51, whose listed address is on Weir Street in Glastonbury, has been charged with evidence tampering and possesion of child porography, according to a report. He is due in court on Dec.11 after posting a $25,000 bond, police said.
According to a report, police received information that Wasch was in possession of child pornography on a computer. Officers seized a laptop and submitted it to the Connecticut Center for Digital Investigations for forensic analysis, a report indicates.

Analysis of the laptop by forensic examiners with the center and Glastonbury Police Department found that Wasch attempted to delete images and videos depicting child pornography that were stored in the laptop with an anti-forensic program.
Agents with Homeland Security Investigations also assisted with the investigation, according to a report.

Wasch surrendered on a warrant on Nov. 26 and police releassed details of the case on Wednesday.
