Aug. 27
Russell Culver, 35, of 30 Cooley Ave., Middletown, was arrested on charges of engaging police in pursuit, reckless driving, theft of a marker plate, misuse of a marker plate, operating under suspension and two (2) counts of risk of injury to a minor in connection with a May 2013 incident when police say Culver had shoplifted from a CVS store in East Hartford and fled police when a Glastonbury police detective attempted to stop his vehicle on Route 2. Culver drove the wrong way down Route 2 to elude police, and had his girlfriend’s two children, aged 2 and 4, in the car, police said. He was presented in court later that day.
Michael Robertson, 48, of 163 Northview Drive, South Windsor, was arrested by warrant on charges of fourth-degree sexual assault and breach of peace stemming from an incident that happened at the Diamond Restaurant, police said. Robertson was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and is due in court on Sept. 11.

Aug. 26
Diego A. Garzon, 27, of 918 Golden West Drive, Katy, Tex., was arrested on charges of failure to drive right, driving under the influence and evading responsibility after police say he was involved in a one-car crash. Garzon was stopped while driving away from the scene and found to be under the influence of alcohol, police said. Garzon was held in lieu of $5,000 bond for presentation in court.

Sandy Souvannakhily, 31, of 55 Shepard Hill Road, Plainfield, was arrested on a charge of possession of cocaine after officers responded to the Quick Mart, 592 Hebron Ave., on a report of a woman sleeping in her car. Souvannakhily was located inside the vehicle and was arrested on possession charges. She was released on $7,500 non-surety bond and is due in court on Sept. 11.
Aug. 25
Krista M. Scelza, 21, of 157 D St., Groton, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and failure to drive right after police responded to a one-car crash on Wassuc Road near Route 2. Scelza was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and is due in court on Sept. 9.
Michael Paul, 78, of 40 Cooper Drive, Glastonbury, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute and police say an investigation revealed that Paul was in a physical confrontation with his wife. He was released on a written promise to appear in court the next day.
Aug. 23
Samuel A. Scannell, 19, of 378 Tall Timbers Road, Glastonbury, was arrested by warrant on charges of risk of injury to a minor and allowing minors to possess alcohol in dwelling after turning himself in to the Glastonbury Police Department. The warrant stemmed from an investigation into an underage drinking party on May 12, 2013, at 1:12 a.m. Police were called for a report of an intoxicated juvenile female staggering in the area of Tall Timbers Road knocking on residents’ doors. Officers determined that there was a large party going on at the address and that the 15-year-old female had come from there.
Aug. 22
Crystalann Mead, 26, of 54 Hunt St., East Haven, was arrested on charges of violation of probation and two (2) counts of second-degree failure to appear after fugitive recovery bail agents took her into custody on outstanding warrants. She was held in lieu of $30,250 bond and was presented in court on Aug. 23.
Stanwood P. Dolph, 23, of 102 Starkweather St., Apt. 2, Manchester, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after police responded to a report of a man sleeping in his vehicle on the side of New London Turnpike. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and is due in court on Sept. 9.
