Glastonbury Police Blotter: June 19 - 21

Glastonbury arrests from June 19 through June 21.

Glastonbury police released the following information on arrests and infractions. Inclusion on this list does not indicate a conviction.

June 20
A 17-year-old was arrested on a charge of permitting a minor to possess alcohol after officers responded to a local residence on Dec. 26, 2012, for a medical call. Upon arrival it was determined that minors were gathered and alcohol was present.  They are due in juvenile court on July 9.

Matthew Plum, 23, of 99 Hayden Hill Road, Haddam, turned himself in on a warrant charging him with fifth-degree larceny. The charge stemmed from a incident where he was found to be stealing money from Home Depot, police said. He was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and is due in Manchester Superior Court on July 3.

July 16
Brian Ramirez, 21, of 97 Grand Ave., New Haven, was arrested on charges of drinking while driving, possession of less than 1/2 ounce of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia after officers patrolling Addison Park say they came upon Ramirez and his girlfriend who were trespassing after dark. An investigation revealed that Ramirez was in possession of an open container of alcohol while trying to drive away from the officers. He was released on a written promise to appear in Manchester Superior Court on July 3.
