Glastonbury Police Blotter: June 27 - June 29

Glastonbury arrests from June 27 through June 29.

Glastonbury police released the following information on arrests and infractions. Inclusion on this list does not indicate a conviction.

June 26

Deborah Duell, 43, of #27 Wrights Lane, Glastonbury, was arrested on a charge of interfering with police and Richard Kiro, 43, of no known address, was arrested on two counts of violation of protective order after Kiro was located at Duell’s home, where he was prohibited from being. Duell interfered with police taking Kiro into custody, police said.

Gene William Hilton, 42, of 258 Woodlawn Circle, East Hartford, was arrested on charges of sixth-degree larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia after police received a report of a shoplifting in progress at the CVS Pharmacy on Main St.  Police located and detained Hilton after he left the store without paying for merchandise.  During the investigation he was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was held in lieu of $5,000 bond for presentment in court on June 27.

Jennifer E. Nash-Jones, 24, of no certain address, was arrested on charges of possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to drive right after police say a citizen called in an erratic operator on Hebron Ave.  Officers stopped the vehicle because it was swerving on the roadway, and found heroin and a syringe in the vehicle, police said.  She was held in lieu of $25,000 for presentment in Manchester Superior Court on June 27.

Marvin D. Goodstein, 58, of 51 Eldridge St., Manchester, was arrested on a charge of second-degree harassment after police responded to a complaint that Goodstein was continuing to make harassing phone calls after he had been previously warned by police to have no contact with the other individual. Goodstein was located at home and admitted to making the calls.  He was released on a written promise to appear in court on July 10.

Angelo Deluca, 24, of 244 Conestoga Way, Glastonbury, was arrested on a charge of interfering with an officer after police responded to a report of a breach of peace near Eric Town Square.  Deluca was arrested after struggling with officers before being released on $5,000 bond for presentment in court on July 10.

June 25

James Milne, 23, of 52 Livingston St., Wethersfield, was arrested on a charge of violation of a restraining order and was released on $5,000 surety bond.

Franklin Davis, 28, of 1194 Manchester Road, Glastonbury, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief after police say he threw a purse at his girlfriend and smashed the windshield of her car during a domestic dispute. He was released on a written promise to appear in court on June 26.

June 24

Joseph Lovell, 52, of 104 Benton Lane, Glastonbury, was arrested on a charge of leaving a child under 12 unattended in a motor vehicle after police say he left his 2-year-old granddaughter in the car while he went into Stop and Shop. He was released on a written promise to appear in Manchester Superior Court on July 10.
