Glastonbury Police Blotter: Sept. 5 - Sept. 7

The following information was submitted from the Glastonbury Police Department. An arrest or infraction does not indicate a conviction.

Sept. 6

Toni M. Cross, 20, and Eric A. Savage, 34, both of 262 Deepwood Drive, Amston, were arrested on active warrants stemming from a road rage incident in July 2012. During the incident, police say Cross and Savage followed another vehicle froum Route 2 onto Putnam Boulevard in a threatening manner. Savage threw a glass bottle at the victim’s car and initiated a physical altercation with the victim before fleeing the scene upon learning that police had been called. Cross was charged with following too closely with intent to harass or intimidate and was released on $2,000 non-surety bond for presentation in court on Sept. 25. Savage was charged with second-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace and throwing objects at a motor vehicle and was held in lieu of $20,000 bond for presentation in court later that day.

Wisly Germain, 33, of 66 Denslow Road, Glastonbury, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and third-degree strangulation after police responded to a report of a 16-year-old female at Walgreens on Main Street who stated she had been kicked out of the house. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Germain, who was held in lieu of $10,000 bond for presentation in court later that day.

Zachary A. Trowbridge, 24, of 156 Main St., Somers, was arrested on a warrant charging him with sixth-degree larceny. The warrant stemmed from a shoplifting incident in June 2013 when  police say Trowbridge stole energy drinks from the Walkgreens Pharmacy on Main St. in Glastonbury. He was held in lieu of $1,500 bond for presentation in court on Sept. 5.

Edward Landry, 19, of 190 Pine St., Manchester, was arrested on charges of breach of peace, interfering with an officer, reckless driving, possession of less than 5 ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia after police say Landry was leaving a motor vehicle stop, drove recklessly and almost struck police cruisers. He was also yelling profanities and making obscene hand gestures as he sped out of the parking lot in view of numerous motorists. He was also found in possession of marijuana and resisted arrest while being put in handcuffs, police said. He was released on a written promise to appear in court on Sept. 18.
