Glastonbury Police: Woman Throws Dog, Bites Mother
The woman had previously threatened to harm the dog during a separate June altercation with her mother, according to police.

A little more than two weeks after she threatened to beat the family dog during an fitful rage, a Glastonbury woman has been charged with cruelty to animals, according to police.
Lindsay M. Anderson, 20, of Sherman Road, was arrested on July 7 and charged with throwing the family dog during a fight with her mother, according to police. Anderson has also been charged with violation of a protective order, disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call and third-degree assault after biting her mother, according to police.
Anderson has been released on a $25,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Super Court on July 16 to answer to the domestic violence charges, according to police.

Officers from the Glastonbury Police Department responded to 75 Sherman Road for a report of a fight between a mother and daughter, possibly involving alcohol. When they arrived they discovered that Anderson, who was intoxicated, had bit her mother and harmed the family dog.
In late June, police responded to the house after Anderson was . Anderson was charged with disorderly conduct at that time, and the dog and mother were unharmed, according to police. Anderson was released on a promise to appear in court. She is scheduled to appear next in court to answer to this charge on Aug. 1
