High Water Level Docks Connecticut River Ferry
Water levels are up on the Connecticut River and the Ferry schedule is on hold.

GLASTONBURY, CT — The historic Connecticut River Ferry between Glastonbury and Rocky Hill is docked until further notice because of high water levels.
State Department of Transportation officials posted an alert on Monday.
The ferry is typically not operating on Monday because of staffing issues.

On Tuesday, it will not be operating, DOT officials said.
High water levels plagued the ferry early in the season in 2017 as well.
