Man Found Leaning On Car Asleep, Then Charged: Glastonbury PD
A man fought with Glastonbury cops after they woke him up, a report incidates.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A man found asleep leaning on his car in a Glastonbury Road wound up fighting with police after they woke him up, according to a police report.
The incident took place at 7:22 p.m. on Thursday in the Feldspar Ridge area, according to a report. Police went to the area after receiving a report about a vehicle operating erratically.
When they arrived, officers found the driver, Ryan Chojnacki, standing outside the vehicle and he appeared to be sleeping "with his head on the front driver's seat," a report indicates.

When police tried to question him, Chojnacki jumped back into the vehicle, placed the key in the ignition and attempted to start it, according to a report.
A struggle then ensued between Chojnacki and the officers, according to a repor.

Chojnacki posted a $15,000 surety bond after being charged with interfering with police, drunken driving, the use of drug paraphernali and possessing a congrolled substance, a report indicates. He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on May 27, records show.
