Monaco Ford Raises Funds for the Glastonbury YMCA

Glastonbury, CT – Monaco Ford, the Glastonbury Family YMCA and members of the local community helped raise much-needed funds for the Y’s youth and family programs at a recent test-drive event, as part of Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR Community program. More than 115 Hartford-area residents virtually test-drove a Ford vehicle through Monaco Ford on November 7, 2020. Ford Motor Company donated $20 per test-drive. Monaco Ford matched this with a $6,000 donation of its own. The dealer also secured other local event sponsorships totaling $9,340.

“I am more than thrilled that so many people from the local community turned out to support the Glastonbury YMCA, and I am proud to be a Ford Dealer. Participants had the chance to take a fun, virtual drive in one of our vehicles, while lending our community a much-needed helping hand,” said Chrissy Monaco, co-owner of Monaco Ford. “During these unprecedented times, it is important for Monaco Ford to support agencies, such as the YMCA, that are here to serve people of all ages and backgrounds in our community.”
