New Steps Dance & Fitness Center Launches Product Line To Support Glastonbury Gives Program
Items being sold include T-shirts and hats for women and girls.
June 8, 2020
Local dance studio, New Steps Dance & Fitness Center has announced the launch of ‘Keep Dancing’, a new apparel and accessories line that will directly support the Glastonbury Gives program. When the COVID-19 pandemic forced the studio to close temporarily, owner and Glastonbury resident Janelle Bradway wanted to refocus her time and energy on an initiative that would help others and inspire her students. “I wanted to do something that would make a positive impact on the local community and set an example for my young students, (and my own children), to emphasize the importance of helping others during challenging times. This product line provides a way to support residents in need while encouraging my students to continue dancing and staying active”, said Janelle.

New Steps partnered with Melissa Infantino, owner of local printing company Made by Miss, to develop the Keep Dancing product line, which includes t-shirts and hats for women and girls. The items are available for sale on the New Steps website and contact-less, curbside pickup is coordinated for each sale. Bradway and Infantino are donating all proceeds from the Keep Dancing product sales to Glastonbury Gives, the umbrella initiative that encompasses the local Food Bank, Fuel Bank, and other assistance programs. Since the onset of the public health emergency, the demand for these assistance programs has continued to increase and Glastonbury Gives relies on the generosity of residents, local businesses, and campaigns like the Keep Dancing initiative to accommodate the needs of community members. The Town of Glastonbury expresses its sincerest thanks and appreciation to New Steps Dance & Fitness Center and Made by Miss for launching this creative campaign in support of the town’s valued assistance programs. Community members can shop the Keep Dancing line, by visiting the New Steps Online Store.
