Nominations are Open for Chamber's Business Person of the Year

The Business Person of the Year Award is the highest commendation the CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce presents each year. This award recognizes a current Chamber member from Glastonbury, East Hartford or Marlborough who is unselfishly committed to the local business community. The winner of the Business Person of the Year Award will be honored at the Chamber's Annual Meeting & Dinner on January 22, 2020. Nominations can be made from the Chamber’s website (crvchamber.org) or by contacting travis@crvchamber.org.

Award Criteria:

The individual selected shall be someone who has started, developed, expanded, or otherwise effectively managed a business or organization.

Individual selected shall be cited for business accomplishments, civic and/or volunteer work.

The individual selected shall be someone who has contributed to economic growth in the region (growth in human, natural and financial resources may be considered).

The individual may have a unique story about overcoming adversity and/or achieving success.

All nominees must be living at the time they are nominated.

All nominees must be a current member of the CT River Valley Chamber.

Those making nominations are encouraged to share their thoughts on what makes this person an ideal candidate for this award, including details about their professional and personal accomplishments.
