July 17: Self-guided tour of a private Glastonbury garden, open to visitors to benefit the Garden Conservancy.

On July 17, explore The Murray Gardens, a private garden at 576 Thompson Street, Glastonbury, CT, open to the public for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. No reservations required; rain or shine. The two-acre landscaped property features long-blooming perennial borders, a small pond with a copper weeping maple sculpture, a naturalized woodland setting, a formal triangle garden containing ‘Knock Out’ roses and oriental lilies inside a boxwood border, and a Japanese garden over a footbridge, leading to a waterfall and two ponds.
