Report: Glastonbury Resident Bitten By Rabid Fox
Police, animal control have sent out warnings.

GLASTONBURY, CT - A person was bitten by a rabid fox in Glastonbury last week, police told NBC Connecticut.
The person was bitten by a gray fox on Redwood Lane on Thursday, June 9, according to the report.

Police are warning residents about the dangers of rabid animals. Signs of rabies include staggering, excess salivation, tremors, convulsions, stupors and unprovoked aggression.
Animal Control is reminding residents that all pets must be vaccinated against rabies.
