Ribbon Cutting for the Second Chance Shop
The Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the store's new location at 730 Hebron Ave.

After moving to their new location on Hebron Ave., the Second Chance Shop recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce.
The Glastonbury Auxiliary of the Village for Families & Children raises funds by selling gently used clothes, accessories, antiques and collectibles, toys, and household items in its Second Chance Shop. The shop is run entirely by about 60 volunteers. The Village’s three auxiliaries – in Glastonbury, Suffield and Simsbury – have contributed a total of more than $620,000 to The Village in the past two decades.
For more than 200 years, The Village for Families & Children has provided a full range of children's behavioral health treatment, foster care and adoption, and community support services for children and their families in the Greater Hartford region.Â
