Seminar for New Teen Drivers and Their Parents
The Glastonbury High School student safe driving club is sponsoring the program this week.

A seminar for teen learning how to drive — and their parents — will be presented by the Department of Motor Vehicles at Glastonbury High School on Thursday night.
“Get It Right the First Time - How Teens Can Pass the Driving Test” is the program that’s being sponsored by Glastonbury High School’s Be the Key student safe driving organization in cooperation with the DMV, the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Tim Hollister, author of Not So Fast: Parenting Your Teen Through the Dangers of Driving.
Summer traditionally is a time when many teens take the road test to obtain a driver’s license. As that season approaches, this session will offer some helpful advice on passing the tests. DMV will explain how the knowledge and road tests work, common problems, how teens can best prepare for both tests and what parents can do to help. Also Safety advocates representing law enforcement, public health and parent education will give need--to-know information.
