State DOT Installing new LED Traffic Lights in Glastonbury

The work will be completed by Oct. 15.

Over the next month, the state Department of Transportation will be replacing its old, outdated traffic signals with newer LED lights, according to the town.

The work will take place on a daily basis, and drivers should expect delays. However, the work will not be allowed to interfere with traffic Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. or 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. It will also not be allowed to interfere with weekend traffic from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Route 17 (Main St.) at Route 160 (Water St.) and Cotton Hollow Road
  • Route 94 (Hebron Avenue) at Route 83 (Manchester Road)
  • Route 94 at Oak Street, Western Boulevard and Route 2 off ramp
  • Route 94 at Sycamore St. and Route 2 off ramp
  • Route 94 at Eastern Boulevard
  • Route 17 at Main Street and Buttonball Lane
  • Route 3 ramps at Putnam Boulevard and Home Depot Plaza Drive
  • Route 94 at Oakwood Drive
  • Route 17 at Hopewell Road and High St.
  • Route 94 at Addison Road and Tara Drive
  • Route 94 at Route 2 on ramp
  • Route 17 at Chestnut Hill Road and Red Hill Road
  • Route 94 at Keeney Street and Old Hebron Avenue
  • Route 94 at Wickham Road and Hebron Ave. Elementary School
