Upcoming Glastonbury High School Graduation Celebration Opportunities Announced
A virtual commencement ceremony will be held June 10.

The Glastonbury Public Schools have several events coming up to help celebrate the graduating class of 2020. Their Class of 2020 Graduation Website is designed to serve as a "central hub of information for everything Class of 2020". Upcoming events featured on the site and occurring in the coming days will include the items below. Please visit their website for more information or contact the Schools directly with any questions:

- May 20 - Honoring Senior Class: The GHS Fields/Scoreboards will be lit up.
- May 28 - Faculty/Staff Class of 2020 Drive Through Parade at GHS parking lot
- Memory Board Slideshow: (Organized by GHS Parent Group)
- Dr. Bean Cycles for Seniors - Principal Bean is biking 493 miles—1 mile for each senior - and will be donating to Glastonbury Gives/Foodshare on behalf of the GHS Student Council
- June 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 - Graduation-at-Your-Door: Dr. Bean/administrative team and Board members will be led by a bus and will travel to each graduate's home to hand deliver their diploma. Students will be assigned a time and date to be ready in their cap and gown to receive their diploma. More information will be forthcoming.
- June 10 - Virtual Graduation
In addition to participating in the events above, the GHS Student Council is suggesting that folks consider honoring the Class of 2020 by making a donation in the graduate's name to the Glastonbury Gives program (funds the local food/fuel banks and other assistance programs) or Foodshare.
